1. Agreement to Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the Save GPT Chrome extension ("Extension", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to use the Extension.
These Terms apply to all users, including:
- Free tier users with limited snippet storage
- Trial users testing Pro features
- Pro/Premium subscribers with unlimited access
2. Description of Service
Save GPT is a browser extension that enables users to:
- Save and store ChatGPT conversation responses
- Export saved content in multiple formats (Markdown, Text, JSON)
- Organize snippets with tags and categories
- Search through saved content efficiently
- Preserve code blocks, lists, and formatting
The Extension operates entirely within your browser. Your saved snippets are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API.
3. User Accounts & Licensing
Free Tier
The free version of Save GPT allows you to save up to 50 snippets with full functionality for those snippets.
Pro/Premium License
For unlimited snippets and additional features, a one-time license purchase is required. By purchasing:
- You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the Pro features
- The license is for personal use on your own devices
- License keys are non-transferable without explicit permission
- You agree to not share, resell, or distribute your license key
Trial Period
We offer a 7-day free trial of Pro features. The trial:
- Automatically reverts to Free tier after 7 days
- Requires no payment information to start
- Is limited to one trial per user/device
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the Extension
- Use the Extension to store or distribute illegal content
- Attempt to circumvent license restrictions or free tier limits
- Use automated systems to abuse the Extension's functionality
- Redistribute or resell the Extension or license keys
- Use the Extension in any way that could harm its operation
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access and license without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
The Extension and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Save GPT and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your content:
- You retain all rights to the content you save using the Extension
- We do not claim ownership of your saved snippets
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and store any content
6. Payment & Refunds
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our authorized payment provider. We do not store your payment information.
Pricing
Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect existing license holders.
Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for Pro license purchases. To request a refund:
- Contact us within 14 days of purchase
- Provide your license key and reason for refund
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
7. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is important to us. Key points:
- All snippets are stored locally on your device
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your saved content
- License verification requires minimal anonymous data
- We do not sell your data to third parties

8. Disclaimers & Limitations
As-Is Provision
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Save GPT, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
We strongly recommend backing up your important snippets regularly. We are not responsible for data loss due to browser clearing, device issues, or other factors outside our control.
9. Third-Party Services
The Extension may integrate with or link to third-party services:
- ChatGPT/OpenAI: We are not affiliated with OpenAI. The Extension works with ChatGPT's public interface.
- Paddle: Payment processing is handled by Paddle. Their terms apply to all transactions.
- Chrome Web Store: The Extension is distributed via Google's Chrome Web Store, subject to their policies.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services.
10. Updates & Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the Extension at any time
- Update these Terms with reasonable notice
- Add or remove features from the Extension
- Change pricing for future purchases
Continued use of the Extension after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Extension is immediately revoked
- You must cease all use of the Extension
- Your locally stored data remains on your device
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Extension shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.
